705 CENTRE STREET, JAMAICA PLAIN.
Jamaica Plain is one of Boston's Municipalities located in the south western section of the city.
The easiest way to get to Jamaica Plain and the Boston Book Company is via Route 1. Within the City of Boston Route 1 becomes a lovely, tree-lined thoroughfare winding through Frederick Law Olmstead's Emerald Necklace. This road is seldom identified as Route l, but rather marked as the Fenway, the Riverway, and the Jamaicaway. Turn at Pond Street on the Jamaica Way away from Jamaica Pond. There is a traffic light there in front of the large Boathouse. At the end of Pond Street (about 200 yards)turn right onto Centre Street. Go about 1/4 mile and turn right on Burroughs Street for the municipal parking lot in the rear of our building. We are located on the second floor . The doorway is on Centre Street next to the flower shop.
