With printed silk covers and silk title label, in the Shimbi Shoin signature grass-cloth clasped chitsu case. Large folio. 48 paintings by the "Three Masters" of Japanese literati painting: Tanomura Chikuden, Watanabe Kazan, and Yosa Buson. Most are in full-page collotype, but there are 11 full page color woodcut plates, a process for which the Shimbi Shoin was famous. Very slight foxing, else very good in a worn case.
