Worn contemporary binding of full leather, with gilt-lettered spine label. It is edgeworn, with rounded corners, moderately rubbed and soiled at sides, and sunned at spine. Text leaves are age browned, with a few scattered pencil notations. The first few leaves have a small dampstain at the fore-edge margin, and two U.S. postage stamps (T. Roosevelt, five cents) adhered to the ffep. A solid, very good copy. (Shaw & Shoemaker 23771).
