(x)377,cxxxvipp. An early printing, the same year as the first edition, of Scott's second attempt at poetry (the first being The Lay of the Last Minstrel). A fine copy in diapered calf, with complex rules and intricate classical corner ornaments. Spine gilt in six compartments with raised bands and delicate pointille and floral cartouches. Marbled edges. Neat presentation inscription dated March, 1808.
