Leather and boards worn; boards and backstrip detached from block. First blank leaf with bookplate (of Frederic Salmon Growse author of "Mathura a District Memoir") detached, laid in. Closed tear and crease to plate XXV (not affecting image). Folding map fine. B/w woodcuts, photo plate as plate 1: Sculptures in Katak Caves. A few loose signatures. As is; needs rebinding. A scarce book.
