Occasional spots of light foxing or soil in the margins. Folding plate frontispiece (CHARADRIUS, Himantopus) and interior plate (A HYBRID BIRD) in very good condition, with only slight offset to top panel of frontispiece. Contents: begins with Letter XLI of The Natural History of Selborne, and contains The Naturalist's Calendar and the Observations in entirety. A lovely copy.
