Elephant folio, 270 pp. + 8 large plates, being six colored albumen photographs (7 1/4 x 9 1/2 inches), 1 color collotype (10 1/2 x 8 inches) and one mat-framed color plate (12 x 7 1/4 inches) with accompanying essay by Kakuzo Okakura. There are 20 additional smaller colored albumen photos tipped in to the text. Includes "Festivals" and "Observances and Pastimes." Some wear to green decorated paper covered boards, light rubbing, corner wear. No stains, rips or tears. Japanese style cord binding, accordion fold pages (with publisher's notice laid in: Do Not Cut The Leaves). Extra shipping charges will be required for this large and heavy book.
