[EHON] SHIBATA ZESHIN, artist. Zeshin Iboku TAIRYU^KYO GAFU. 25.7 x 18.2 cm. To^kyo^, Meiji 40 [1907]. Folding orihon album, in the original covers with a printed paper title label. 12 double page color woodblock prints based on designs by Zeshin, the noted painter and lacquer artist, who had died a number of years earlier. He had contributed to several print collections during his lifetime but this posthumous collection is all based on his work. (See Mitchell p.562]. Very good condition, in a clasped chitsu case.
