An album of tipped-in woodblock-printed ex-libris designed by acclaimed illustrator Kajiyama Toshio (1935-2015). This volume is one of a limited edition of only seven copies, and is inscribed and stamped by Kajiyama to Saito Senichiro on the front free endpaper. Saito, whose name is also printed on the front of the book-box, is one of the clients for whom Kajiyama designed an ex-libris, and four examples of ex-libris made for Saito by Kajiyama are included in this album (each using the same blocks but printed in different colours). The album includes a total of 18 woodblock-printed ex-libris designed by Kajiyama for six clients, and 5 other woodblock-printed plates (the title, index, and 3 prints of a landscape illustration (a fourth print of which is tipped-in to the book-box) plus a colophon. Each ex-libris is captioned with its title and the name of the client for whom it was made. Original hardcover binding, boards covered by dyed and creped paper. Hand-written title slip, a little foxed, tipped-in to upper board. Board extremities lightly browned. Occasional slight waving to pages or ex-libris due to glue used. Very occasional minor foxing, mostly to colophon only. A delightfully colourful album of 18 ex-libris, inscribed by the artist and privately published in an extremely small limitation. Near fine. Stab-bound..
