Kyō no 100 Ninten 今日の100人展 [100 Contemporary Artists]. Mainichi Shinbunsha 毎日新聞社, publisher. 1971. 24 x 25cm art catalog with over 100 black and white photographic images and Japanese text. Two red free endpapers in both the front and the rear. Bio of each artist in Japanese text under the photo (s) of the artist’s work. Each artist has a number from 1 - 100 and each photo is numbered accordingly, so in some cases there is more than one photo with the same number.

In the front of the catalog, there is a short introduction to the museum and its collaboration with the newspaper, followed by a [2] page essay on the exhibit itself. In the back of the catalog, there is a [5] page list of each artist as they appear in the catalog, with the name of their work(s), materials, size and place of exhibit, followed by a [4] page biography of the museum from 1960 - 1970, listing the exhibits held by month.

The catalog is from an exhibition of 100 artists held at the Hyogo prefecture Modern art Museum (Hyōgokenritsu Kindai Bijutsukan 兵庫県立近代美術館) from September 5 - October 3, 1971. The event was sponsored by the Mainichi Shinbunsha 毎日新聞社 (Mainichi Daily Newspaper Co.), which was commemorating its 100 year anniversary.
