[Handscroll, Medical] Anon. TO^RYU^ GOKUI SAKKATSU NAIKEI NO DAIJI. ["GREAT MYSTERIES OF LIFE AND DEATH"] Ten no Maki. [Volume 1 (of three)]. Handpainted handscroll, 20.1 x 229.2 cm. With upwards of 17 illustrations in ink and colors of organs and viscera and a pictorial diagram of the human body, with text. A traditional rendering, artistically inexpert, which is nonetheless interesting from a historical point of view. Probably late 19th, early 20th century. Supplied with a rough translation. With brocade preliminary, label, simple wooden jiku handles. Very good condition.
