Woodcut frontispiece and vignette to title-page. 359 pp. 12mo., contemporary brown calf, black leather spine label with title in gilt to spine. Contemporary ink ownership to front fly-leaf (dated 1832). This is an instructional work wherein the sins of youth are enumerated and the advantages of early religion and the pleasantness of piety are outlined. Front free endpaper is missing. Light to moderate foxing throughout the text; some corners are dog-eared. The leather is rubbed to surfaces and edgeworn. Overall, this is a very good copy. (Rinderknech 3090).
