Ex library; bookplate to front pastedown and one other discreet mark. Free endpapers and the first leaf of text detached. Some light soiling to bottom margin of a few leaves, but a clean and good copy overall. The facsimile is of the "Ferdinand" edition of Stephen Plannck (Rome, 1493). It is preceded by Mayor's translation, which is from a different Latin text, and appeared in his Select Letters of Christopher Columbus (London, 1847) - one of the publications of the Hakluyt Society.
