[EHON] Aikawa MINWA, artist. KÔRIN GASHIKI Zen. Ôsaka & Kyôto, Bunka 15 [1818]. 26.1 x 18.5 cm. Original covers and printed title label. Delicately printed color prints after designs by Ogata Kôrin. A few pages with slight repaired worming, the covers are rubbed, but overall a lovely copy of this book, which has become increasingly uncommon in this, its first appearance in print. One usually sees the much bolder, much coarser Meiji era reprint from some 60 years later. See Mitchell's description at page 376 for more.
