[EHON] Aikawa MINWA, artist. KO^RIN GASHIKI Zen. O^saka & Kyo^to, Bunka 15 [1818]. 26.1 x 18.5 cm. Original covers and printed title label. Delicately printed color prints after designs by Ogata Ko^rin. There is a very light water stain in the gutter of a few pages at the beginning, but overall a lovely copy of this book, which has become increasingly uncommon in this, its first appearance in print. One usually sees the much bolder, much coarser Meiji era reprint from some 60 years later. See Mitchell's description at page 376 for more. In a lovely brocade covered custom clasped chitsu case.
